Kyle Craig is a technologist with a Master’s Degree in Business. He has worked with several technology products across North America, Europe, Korea, China, and Japan. Over his career, Kyle has served in engineering and corporate positions in software and media companies.
He has led over 40 software product launches and managed worldwide teams. His early engineering work on the Nucleus operating system eventually ended up running the baseband processor on the iPhone.

The biggest gain I bring to writing – at least what I’ve been told by clients – is that my technical background allows me a complete understanding of the product. Because I have actually been a programmer and technical manager, it allows me the ability to understand how things work. By understanding how the product works, it provides a unique understanding for writing the paper. Although it may take a little more effort to understand the product, I believe in the end it provides a better paper. And it’s often more useful for the reader.
Critics of this approach will say that the inter-workings of the  product don’t matter. Only the benefits of the product matter, not the interworking. My response is that this approach can be useful, but learning about the products provides a unique perspective that other people may miss.
